LP&M Advertising Wins National Award at

Agri-Marketing Competition

A direct mail kit to promote pizza in schools, created by LP&M Advertising of Syracuse won a national marketing award on April 17th in Kansas City. The agency received a Merit Award from the National Agri-Marketing Association, which recognizes excellence in marketing communications to the agriculture industry.

LP&M won in the Producer-Funded Advertising Campaigns category for its 2012 “Rethink Pizza” entry for the American Dairy Association and Dairy Council.

The kit contained a number of tools and resources to help school food service personnel improve their pizza offerings, including a video featuring TV chef Ed Cotton. This concept was created in response to research showing a decline in the popularity of school pizza. The “Rethink Pizza” kit was sent to numerous school districts’ nutrition directors in New York State to rejuvenate pizza’s popularity with kids while meeting government standards for nutrition.

The National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) is the nation’s largest organization for professionals in marketing and agribusiness.

LP&M Advertising, a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), serves the marketing communications needs of consumer and B2B clients locally, regionally and nationally.
