LP&M Advertising Wins Six Agri-Marketing Awards

Syracuse agency honored for agricultural marketing excellence

(SYRACUSE, NY – February 21, 2017): LP&M Advertising of Syracuse recently won six awards for excellence in marketing communications to the agriculture and animal health industry. The honors came from the National Agri-Marketing Association’s Best of NAMA competition, where winners are selected regionally before advancing to the national level.

LP&M earned top honors with five First Place awards and one Merit Award, for work created on behalf of four different clients. The winning efforts spanned a variety of marketing platforms including public relations, social media, print advertising, direct mail, corporate video and web-based promotional programming.

First Place awards included:

  • A press kit for an Israeli provider of monitoring technology and software for dairy farms in the Media Relations category. The kit was created to introduce the Afimilk In-Line Milk Lab to the media at World Ag Expo in Tulare, California.

  • A social media campaign for Conewango’s Evolution milking liners. The digital campaign was designed to promote and raise awareness of Evolution Liners’ low-slip feature, and to enhance the company’s online presence.

  • An advertorial campaign created for the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association. This series of print advertorials targeted medical professionals, school nutritionists and registered dietitians, educating them on how milk can bridge dietary gaps for kids.

  • A direct mailer that included a custom illustrated “flip book” focusing on the value of school breakfast programs. It was created for American Dairy Association North East, and directed to education administrators in six states.

  • A 90-second video, also for American Dairy Association North East, encouraging the inclusion of chocolate milk on school lunch menus to enhance student nutrition and boost overall milk consumption.

LP&M also received a Merit Award for a web-based outreach program created to educate New York City students about the vital role of dairy farms. The program included a custom microsite and coordination of prize drawings involving thousands of student entrants. American Dairy Association North East was again the client for this project.

All finalists will now advance to the national Best of NAMA competition held in Dallas, April 26, 2017.
